So guys, did you have a good time?
I've been back a day and am already thinking about next year....its just so addictive!
You all did very well, we have raised in the region of £25,000 so far but want to push for more, so if there's anyone you haven't contacted yet - get in touch- nout wrong with a bit of post-event-sponsership.

Mate I loved it! Already thinking about next year and what could possibly beat the badboy Merc. Funny how it gets under your skin and becomes more than just a roadtrip, but an epic adventure.
P.S. I gotta say maybe its because you do it with such a great bunch of lunatics, thanks all for making the trip what it was! |

Two of us IMOM met last night for a beer, it wasn't the same - the wives were with us
Heard from the Muppets who are on their way back, they got the ferry to Venice, stopped off in Verona and overnighted in Monaco. Now heading back to Calais for the ferry this afternoon - lucky b*stards.
We had an absolute ball, and passing through Bosnia was an incredible experience - one we will never forget.
Cheers to everyone involved in organising, and everyone who participated in making it such a great event.
Is anyone else amazed at how only 2 cars died? _________________ Austin Rovers - International Men of Mystery |

Big thanks to Ric & Nick for having the lunatic idea in the very first place
Big thanks to everyone who was there in the '08 Dumball and made it what it was. From happily getting our arses out at a Sarajevo petrol station, to happily getting our arses out in a Macedonian ski resort, to happily getting our arses out at the back of the convertible limo to, er... hang on - perhaps I'd better stop there
Seriously tho, I'm going next year by hook or by crook!
YOU WIN THIS ROUND, BEGGAR!

Had a mental time, thanks Rick and Nick. Jenkball also made it back safe to Plymouth two weeks later. I couldn't bring myself to take all the stickers off the car, so I am still proudly driving around with a bunch of paw prints, windscreen stickers and Dumball number on my car, getting some strange looks from the Devon yokels!
Can't wait till next year, if I needed a reason to come back from travelling, Dumball is it...x |
